I'm a sixty-year old woman who, with her husband, is in transition. I'm living a gap year, a midlife gap year. After 29 years of living in the southwest and then Midwest, we sold our home, one of us retired (R), I left my job, and headed back west and to places, many places beyond. In Chicago, I earned my living as a psychotherapist and educator.
